For Those Of You Who Shoot Left Eyed

Same here. I shoot long guns left handed, hand guns right handed, bows left handed. I am right handed but I would feel very awkward shooting a rifle right handed.

    What is it

There is a great looking black powder gun on the cover of the NRA store spring catalog. I have trouble distinguishing an 1860 from an 1861 when I can't see the bore, is there another way to tell them apart? The cylinder is strange, I am guessing a conversion. The grips are beautiful. I am new at...

Does the paddle holster have a place in CC?

I use my paddle holster for executive protection work. It is easy to draw from while wearing a suit. It is not the most concealable but while in that mode that is not my main concern.

    Pietta 1851 Navy grip frame

I am not looking to get it for free and I know I can get them at VTI but I would like to find and older one. Tarnished or dull is fine. I did a really good job antiqueing the finish but the grip frame looks too new. Thanks for any leads.

    Trouble with IWB design.

I feel your pain. After carrying mine in the same position for 28 years, I tried a new holster. I bought a Front Line IWB for my Glock 19. It is the type that you can tuck your shirt in. The quality of the holster is fantastic but I never left the house before I switched back to my original. I...

    Now what is it

I have a Pietta 1862 Army/Police. This was my first BP gun. I have put a lot of time into removing all of the bluing, defarbing and sanding the grips and I love the antique look of it. I recently swapped my 1851 cylinder onto it and it works fine. I ordered another 1851 cylinder and I am going...

    police marked guns

I have been looking for this one. Teddy Roosevelt ordered 2000 of them, since then service revolvers have not been marked in NYPD. They have been purchased by the individual. I missed out on one recently. If anyone sees one please keep me in mind.

    Ithaca M37 Trench Gun

Thanks for the links Lee. It is not US marked but it is high 900's serial number. The people at Ithaca told me it was made for the military, not commercial but was pulled off line along with many others for the rioting that started in many cities around that time and the request by many Police...

    Ithaca M37 Trench Gun

I have a model 37 trench gun that was made in 1967. It did not go to Viet Nam at the time because it was one of the ones held here due to the rioting at the time and went to a Police Department just north of New York City. It came with the 1911 remington bayonet. At the time, the Army sent the...
