In the Alliant Reloader Guide the max load is--17.0 grs. of 2400 at 1.62 oal. FPS is 1300 at 34,600. 5" barrel. In the Lyman 48th the max load 18.3grs. of 2400 at--1.610 oal. FPS is 1105 at 38,700. 4" barrel. When I compare the two loads it don't look right. 1.3 more grs. and 4100 more...
