    Range Report 2.75 inch S&W m69 44 magnum

Paul105, The bore access might be why I could shoot this m69 faster than my m629 snubby.

    Range Report 2.75 inch S&W m69 44 magnum

Thanks, sparkyv. I've been shooting DA revolvers since about 7 years old when my pop started me off with his S&W m19 snubbie. He always taught me to practice in DA as during self-defense you won't have time to cock the hammer. I still have the m19 to this day and I shoot it on occasion. He...

    Range Report 2.75 inch S&W m69 44 magnum

It is a stout recoil but I am used to heavy magnums. You can get a idea of the recoil from the video I posted above.

    Range Report 2.75 inch S&W m69 44 magnum

I finally got the 2 3/4 inch L frame model 69 44 magnum. Probably the smallest production all steel five shot 44 magnum you can get New grips and the second gun is even more rare. It’s a 2 inch 44 Special S&W 269 with a scandium frame and titanium cylinder. I carry the model 69 on my hip...

Identity and Date of Manufacture of S&W Revolvers

That number is on the butt of the gun, but the "s" is far removed from the number. I was unsure if the "s" is actually part of the serial number

    Taurus PT140 Pro

First, I am sorry if I am in an incorrect board. Second, I have a friend that really likes his Older gen1 Taurus PT140 Millennium Pro despite the recall issues and refuses to part with it. However, he needs a new recoil spring assembly. I have been trying to help him find one to no avail. I...

    Hudson H9?

The Glock merged with the 1911 is not a new idea. Alchemy Arms attempted it as well and that company went belly up. They made the Spectre, many of the parts interchangeable with Glock parts https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alchemy_Arms_Spectre

Any reports on the 22TCM from guys that own one?

I have the RIA TCM 1911 with both barrels. First up is the 9mm barrel. The recoil is much less than a 45 ACP in a 1911 but it shot very high with the sights as they were (about 5 inches high). It turns out that the sights are dialed in for the 22 TCM and the 9mm groups much higher. I did not...

    "40 is a dead caliber"

If there is a more mainstream caliber that seems to be nearly out of steam I would think its the 25 ACP.

    First 1911

The 22 TCM is a fun little round and the 9mm barrel makes it a nice defensive pistol as well. I have a review of the 22 TCM here: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=803761 A gif of the 22 TCM from my high speed camera:

    Beretta 92

I have a small pile of Berettas and my two favorites among them are my 92 Inox and 92G Centurion both with D springs installed. I like the balance of the Centurion more, kind of like how I prefer a Commander to the Government 1911.
