i picked up a 41 mag in SS, 3 " bbl and mod # 657. i looked into this and i believe it is # 41 of 5490 made in 1986. the sn is ANE3XXX. anyone shed a bit of light on this? thanks in advance.

i just bought a ROSSI r462 6-shot ss 357 mag w/2" barell. i also was just told this gun was only good for 3000 to 5000 rounds then it is basicly junk metal.
