    See jmorris started it!

The sudden interest in 3D printing in the reloading hobby started on THR on March 30, 2018! And it wasn't my fault! It started with this thread started by jmorris! And heart-felt thanks from this hobbiest! I refound this thread due to THR's new feature "Similar threads.":)...

Coupling a 3D case feeder to a Lee Pro 6000

3D printed parts I used to connect my 3D printed case collator to the Lee Pro 6000. Picture Below: The black part uses Lee's bolt and wingnut inside to mount everything to the press. It is the Caliber insert holder. Caliber insert holders, like the red 9mm version shown, is dropped in through...

    FeedNSeat in one...save a Station

Test subject is the Lee 6000 which already has 6 stations, but that's the one I'm playing with because it's not dedicated to anything yet. Besides, for people who move their powder drop to #3, they have in effect only a 5 station press. Not perfected yet......getting closer....need to close...

Curious Sort with Too Much Time

So now we have several progressive presses with more than 5 stations. That means I shouldn't even be interested in trying to feed and seat in one station.....But Jmorris just keeps on bringing that little sore spot up :).....and I do still have a Pro 2000 five hole progressive.....and a 3D...

    Lee 6000 3D Printed Addons

First lights.....great idea but required a modified primer column. (Which I was hoping to improve a little anyway). The two screws are temporary and just dropped in, not screwed in. All that is intended and needed is hex shafts with heads that drop into Lee's hex head bolts...

Single Station Presses with Case Feeders: Lee APP was first but won't be the last

Honestly, I think what Lee started will spread to most other singles, eventually. As is my style, here's a "how-to-make-one from a Summit Press.....to start...with a little help from Lee APP Parts, and Inline Fabrication's flush mount: Won't be a thread useful for anyone but Summit owners...

Easy 3D Printed Video Powder Checker

I wanted to demonstrate how easy it is to build a Video Powder Check Station. I broke my 12 Volt endoscope in the process and will have to order another on the slow boat from China. I do have a USB spare that has to be played on a computer..... but I prefer using a cheap 5" color monitor. The...

Tiny 3D printing project to improve RCBS's neat Rifle Tube Bullet Feeder

kk Pretty little thing and includes an "M" neck expander to feed bullets straight and true with no leaning bullets. But.......if there's a klutz around (me) you can forget and tip the die and chase and/or lose ball bearings on the floor......and the clear plastic tube holder can be bumped out...

    Memory Starting to Fade

I can't remember what this part is to......maybe for my Forster Trimmer, but if it is, I don't remember for what? Anybody seen this, or know what it is? I hate getting old. Above: from the inside, there is a sharp edge in the center hole, a cutter? Above: outside nice bluing, and a set...

Lee APP with a little help from 3d printed parts Depriming .357 Mag

I want to tumble a bunch of .357Mag tomorrow, so I deprimed some using Lee's APP and TylerR's quick change case feeding parts. One base with a ring (black part), and one caliber specific down tube (red). I loaded two 36" tubes full of cases....25 cases each and videoed them to show you all how...

    Just a Little Something Different

Once in a while you pick something up at the range that's different....here's one. I've seen Mauser cartridges before, but not Turkish one's on the ground on a New Mexico Rifle Range. 8mm x 57? What's 7.9 mean? Is there a 7.9mm Mauser? 1942 vintage made in Belgium? (FS) Couldn't resist...

    3D Printing for Reloading Equipment

Very curious how much or how little interest there is out there. For me it's been the best move I've made in the hobby in years, Second only to my progressive presses. Clutched wheel for large rifle bullets

    ChargeMaster Link

RCBS has just introduced another ChargeMaster. Pre-order only so far....supposedly shipping late July. On their site it's listed at $350 with free shipping. It's called ChargeMaster Link because it comes with a Bluetooth app to link it to your phone...

3D Printed Lights & Camera for Progressive

Granted this progressive is becoming rare and only found used if found at all, but the idea can be converted to anything...... this one just presses on over the top of my Pro 2000. I'm still finding interesting 3d printing projects for my reloading hobby. This one is only the last 2...

Case/Bullet feeders done....but couldn't see inside up there...

Had to come up with a cheap 3d printed solution: Besides the print, I just bought $3 of threaded rod (1/4-20) from Home Depot, two hand nuts (from Ace Hardware), and a $6 mirror from Hobby Lobby: The print file.....

Finally Have a Proper Working Bullet Feeder for my .223 loader.

I used AmmoMike's small base plate, TylerR's improved version of the OpenScad bullet plate maker to make the .223 wheel, and a proximity sensor to stop the thing when the tubes are full. Makes for a short video..... I did not use Ammo Mike's trademark radial troughs, and that kept the bullets...

3D Prints Can Improve a Lee APP

The Lee APP does a lot of things.....some really well, some after a tweak here and there. After they plowed the pass-thru shell holders to fix other feeding problems, I had trouble feeding smaller pistol cases for depriming. They tipped into the plowed areas and hung up. See the video below...

Proximity Switch Major Caliber Change on a Printed Bullet Feeder

So the 3d printed collator can do pistol, and I made another stop switch using a proximity switch to turn it off when the tubes are full. But how hard is it to majorly change calibers using that proximity stop switch? I wouldn’t want to have to buy and fabricate new stop switches for every...

First Try at 3D Printing--Boolits Point Down for APP or Noe Sizer

Not only does it work, it does NOT use a MBF style bullet flipping ramp the ramp is there.......for nostalgia. Thanks AmmoMike for the 3D printed feeder movement! I think I'm hooked....thanks to AR-bossman, RedlegEd and jmorris.;)
