Sorry for the late delay on the reply. Thank you all for the quick/great responses. The issue is called Radioulnar Synostosis and is where the radial and unla are fused at the elbow. My wife and I wanted to look for simple gun-swap specific solution for this issue before going the mechanical...
I've really never stopped her from trying, she loves her mom's Walter P22. She also has shot her PK380 and it fits her hands A1. She's just interested in a long gun and more distance shooting, and not feeling left out on a turn on the rifle range.
I haven't really explored the idea of Quad-rail on an AR or similar but trying something with a fore-grip mounted horizontally is a great idea. She's plenty strong enough, and there's plenty of will to match it. She'd be thrilled by the idea of an long gun that could fit her. I can get her...
I am a firm believer in teaching one's children to shoot and defend themselves. I've taught each one of my kids to shoot beginning at age five. They respect safety, are shockingly accurate, and more recoil tolerant that some adults I meet. (I'm a very proud Dad) Shooting has always been a family...
What we can look forward to in 2013.
Glock will produce a proprietary pistol carbine on the AR platform, rumored to be exclusively chambered in 45GAP. :D
So the converted SAIGA...glad to hear they are a bargain. Is a converted one for 660$ reasonable? Any aftermarket forearms? The one on it feels like a plastic toy!
After being completely inundated with doomsday gun an prophecy, I've become numb to the whole thing over the past two decades..not that I forgot about paying 60$ for Preban ak magazines...I just don't feel like worrying about it too much anymore. You can vote and write you congressman, but that...
Gunvault makes a number of biometric or "fingerprint" vaults that sit nicely inside drawers or bolt under desks or tables for under 200$. They can be programmed with many different users fingerprints and allow almost instant access should the need arise in a particular room that you spend the...
I suggest you look at the ruger American, I like a nice Remington 700 as much as the next guy but Remington has suffered quality control issues, and after a couple lemons, I have cut my losses and lost faith. With all the updated features, it's a easy comparison...if your intention is to tinker...
Last gun bought
Walther PPQ IN 40S&W. I couldn't be happier, I was looking for a midsized "full sized" polymer handgun in a useful self defense caliber. Accuracy is A1, as is function fit and finish. Just got tired of the plain vanilla glock 19!
So I've been bitten by the AK bug. I had previously sold my romy SAR-1 looking to upgrade. I've been around all the gunshops in my area and came down to three models I'm interested in...the new updated SIG 556R, a converted SAIGA in 7.62x39, or a zastiva PAP M70 in wood. I really like the feel...
My everyday carry...
Ruger SP101 in .357 wearing badger custom grips and XS Big dot with a Black Galco pancake holster...if wearing winter clothes, a couple of HK speedloaders loaded up with Hornady Critical Defense.
SIG P232...went back to the factory three times. Still somehow my fault...stovepiped like crazy. Wouln't feed hollowpoints or trunicated cone. Crazy with SIG's repuation, customer service was garbage. They just wouldn't replace it.
Hey...it could happen...
How about a 357SIG carbine/sub gun with 100rnd clyndical drum magazine and a electronic sear/trigger system paired up with an Roller-bolt style blowback bolt system for reliability.
Shove in a H&K G11 style moving barrel recoil system to tame a the hotter 357SIG in...

I recently purchased a used PSL via gunbroker. Everything seemed well enough when it arrived. Definatly no pedigree here, kinda reminds me of more of a gritty old garden tool. Anyway, I got the thing out to the range with three diffrent surp. ammos' to try. Using the rifles PSO scope I started...
