Well then, get a 30 SC.
Sig 365 is a "decent"* minimum carry, 11 rounds.
*Decent defined by me as at least 11 rounds of 9mm; though in the case of a 9mm 1911 I'll let 10 rounds slide.
x2 on handgun hero and it has pics.
This one shows how a Sig 365 is about the same size as a snub.
Which often influences snub advocates change the point of discussion from size to shape; nonetheless, the 365 is still better.
Well, preferred carry (thread topic) may be influenced (limited) by unrequired shirt tucking.
If someone says a LCP 380 or snub is their carry they may omit that they prefer having their shirt tucked over carrying a more advantageous handgun.
I don't suffer with that.
Does work limit my carry (clothing)? No.
Am I willing to wear a belt? Yes.
Am I a slave to unrequired shirt tucking? No
Does where I am standing (like in a good spot) decrease my desire to incapacitate attackers ASAP? Nope.
Would I rather run out of ammo or have bullets left over? Extra bullets...
Tough old lady.
Our German Shepherd sleeps outside our bedroom door and a Bullmastiff sleeps within feet of him.
The melee that would ensue should someone try to get to my bedroom door could pull one out of a coma.
And I'll have no trouble being armed quickly.
In KY I had 20 acres and could shoot on my property.
A sacrifice of moving to FL was now I shoot at an indoor range; but, I can walk down the street to the ocean and I could not do that in KY.
No.
Every gun I own was purchased at a dealer, with two exceptions; the one my dad gave me in 1987 for my 21st birthday and the one my wife inherited from her mother.
This may not apply to OP.
Fair odds that when one can dress as they choose it is not a gunbelt or holster limiting their carry, it is unwillingness to untuck their shirt.
And that little detail is often omitted.
Any working gun could be used for self defense at home; however, some are better choices than others.
But handguns are more conducive to concealment in typical clothing and thus what one likely has available when away from home.
If one has options, like I do, I'm going to settle for "better than...
The handgun I'm carrying all day is handy at night; so, that is my go to self defense weapon.
Live in a good area? Check
Have two large dogs? German Shepherd & Bullmastiff. Check.
Carry anyway? Check.
First gonna need a itemized list of all her clothing and shoes with approximate value.
For most women that would take so long they would forget about what they originally wanted.
