Well today was my last hunt for the Mississippi deer season. I saw 16 does and 6 bucks. The bucks were two 6 points, 1 7 point, 1 4 point, a spike and 1 big 8 point. The 8 point was 163 yards from my shooting house. I didn't chance a shot because I was carrying my single shot .45/70...

On a whim today I bought a Stoeger Cougar .45acp. I know it was originally a Beretta design similar to the current PX4. Does anybody have any experience with the 8045? What can you tell me about it?
