I bought the P09 about 4 months ago for $496 out the door and have put 1100 rounds through it without any problems. It is a great gun - accurate , easy to take down and clean, great triggers, and well made. It is a keeper.

All good choices that you have , but for summer carry where I live in the deep South, I carry a Taurus TCP 380 in a pocket.

I have this pistol too and share your positive comments . It is a great gun for the money. EAA still imports this pistol , the other company here in Florida did not pick it up and EAA has it back again on their web site.

To improve the trigger on my SR9 and to get rid of most of the stacking, I clipped 2 coils off the striker spring and it is sweet now at 4.5lb with no light strikes.

I had the M&P but sold it and bought the SR9 and could not be happier with it.

I also have the SAR B69 and it is one of the best buys . It is beautifully machined inside and out and functions flawlessly each time I shoot it.

I only carry one mag for my CCW and can not ever remember wearing a mag out even though I prefer to have two with each gun.

Of the ones you listed , I would pick the XDs. I have it as well as an older PM9 and both have been flawless in reliability.

You made a very good choice . I just ordered one after shooting A P-07 belonging to a friend . I like the longer sight radius and for the money it is a quality gun in every way. Have fun shooting your new P-09. Snoop

The real appeal for SIG bringing back the P225 is simply that the P239 is not as appealing to a large number of the gun buying public. It is not a well balanced pistol as the P225, as it is top heavy and the grip is too small as well. Having both in the marketplace may work out better for SIG .
