    Ankle Holster

As a police officer, I carried a bobbed hammered model 60 on my ankle. Make sure you get a good ankle holster! I had mine scoot out of a bargain holster while in a fight! I preferred a Renegade ankle holster, which was comfortable and high quality. I used to wear it on my support side...

Is everyone still loving their Ruger Wranglers?

They are cheap enough to modify and personalize. I put Single Six parts (hammer, modified aluminum grip frame, frame screws) and a Bisley trigger in this Birdshead 3.75" gun, before they came out with the Sheriffs model. A gunsmith milled a dovetail in the barrel and I put a Skinner brass...

    .38 Diamond Back $1400???

I've owned this Diamondback .22 for almost 40 years. It was originally a 6" blued model I bought used as a kid in the mid-80's with my Dad's help. He shot a S&W 17-2 at informal silhouette tournaments in his Sportsmans Club at work, and I was his sidekick. I loved the look of the Colt and I...

Colt King Cobra Target 22: Table Top & 300 Round Review

I put a Colt Eliason rear sight and a modified front sight on my 22lr Diamondback. I love the sight compared to the Accro sight which came on it.

    I Like Grip Adapters

Yes. I had a local gunsmith cut and crown the barrel, and slab side it. He also cut a dovetail for a front sight. I installed a factory DAO hammer and I used cold blue on the barrel and spots on the gun which were missing bluing. I would like to have it refinished, but the current finish...

    I Like Grip Adapters

I have the worn Tyler T adapter which came with my 10-8 I bought used a few years ago. The gun appeared to be a worn duty gun with a 4" barrel. I had the gun customized and it's a favorite.

Is Taurus a Good Brand for Revolvers

I owned a 3" stainless 431 in .44spl and it had a nicer action/trigger than my friends 696 Smith. He thought so too. I never should have sold it, but I did. I own a 761 in 32 magnum and it is very nice. I bought my daughter a 856 defender and she likes it, so do I. I carry a 856 as my edc...

D, K and N frame weigh the same?

That's true. The 761 has a thick barrel with no taper. The N frame has a tapered barrel.

D, K and N frame weigh the same?

22lr, 32 Mag and 44 spl. All are within an ounce of each other. I never would have believed that.

Two very different 3" (ish) carry revolvers

They are alive, but not making that model. You have to keep your eye open on Evilbay and the used forums. The round butt grips fit better than the square butt grips (leaves a gap).
