This is helpful. Thanks for the replies. Given the relatively significant cost difference I'm leaning towards the usp. It actually fits me well and the single action trigger seems a little crisper on the usp. Still a tough call.
For anyone who has carried one in a holster, have you ever...

1. I'm looking for a ballpark value on a used HK USP Compact in 9mm with no mags. The gun is in good working order with some wear on the slide. Standard sights and no box. It is a variant 3 I believe with the 1911 style safety and decocking lever.
2. Since the P30 came out and...
I have fired the Legion in 226. Totally reliable. The trigger reset and smaller slide stop lever are nice improvements over a standard 226. I personally find the 226 and 229 a little on the heavy side for carry.

1. For anyone who has shot both a railed 92 and a Px4 in 9mm can you tell me how the recoil compares? The 92 is heavier but I am reading that the rotating barrel of the px4 helps its recoil.
2. For practical purposes, no extreme conditions, is there any difference in reliability...
Update - I made 2 attempts to contact Aguilla. They didn't respond to me either time. The shop where I bought the ammo was willing tof take it back out of good faith. I won't purchase Aguilla again unless I at least get a response.
2 of the misfires happened with a stock gen 4 glock 19. The other happened with a hammer fired cz p01. I didn't mention the misfires in my email letter to Aguila just the squib as I considered that the more dangerous of the 2 situations. I never considered aguila to be low quality. I have...
Thanks guys. It's good to get another perspective. I just emailed them about the squib and provided them the Lot number. I will repost if/when they contact me.
I recently purchased a case of 1k rounds of Aguila 9mm. I have been shooting this brand for 2 years and never had any issues at all. So far In this case I have experienced 3 light primer strikes, 2 with a glock 19 and 1 with a cz 75, no big deal but not common for me with this brand. But...
Very nice color. I love the VP9. I have 5k rounds through one and have never had a failure including in some nasty/dirty conditions. It is also ridiculously accurate.
I have a glock 19c that functions reliably and is quite accurate. The only thing I don't like is that it's pretty loud and there is more muzzle blast for extended range time. Is there any issue with using a stock glock 19 barrel in the gun or aftermarket glock 19 barrel for extended shooting...
Vp9 because it is 100 percent reliable, incredibly accurate, and is built to a high quality standard. I have 4k rounds through the VP9 with zero malfunctions. Also, holster availability is now pretty solid. Good luck deciding.
