New/used 10/22. Get a set of Tech Sights TSR-100's. And a two-stage trigger group from, like, Hornet. Mission accomplished. :) Then you can add on to it as you go along, upgrade to a nicer barrel or a different stock or whatever tickles your fancy.

Well guys, I think I've more or less settled on the Colt. Doesn't mean I'm not getting the Ruger, because I will. But that'll be either this coming fall, or next spring, or maybe even later, when it's matured a little bit. Now I just have to play the waiting game.

I'm not sure where you guys are finding lower prices than about $1200 for a NIB 6920, but I'd sure like to know. I'd rather not get a used one, even though I could probably pick one up for under $1k. I'd just as soon spend the extra few $$$ and have a brand-new one that nobody's ever fed...
