I'm pretty set on a Savage Edge in .270 from probably walmart. I like the ergonomics and handling and the detachable magazine, however the stock is too light for my liking, what can I put inside the stock to give it a little more heft?

That Ariska sure looks pretty, haha my Grandfather got out of the army sometime in the 50's, and he bought a Winchester M1 Carbine for $20 from a surplus store. It's in excellent condition and worth upwards of $700-800 or more. First military weapon I ever fired :)

my local store sells brand new .45, 9mm, and .40 caliber Glocks for $459 with 2 mags, case, manuel, etc. sounds like a decent deal.
