Hi all,
Just acquired an American made sig p210 target pistol. I'm stoked on the new piece and I'm already thinking about handloading match grade ammo for it (haven't even fired it yet lol) Does anyone out there load for this pistol? If so what grain/style of bullet do you have the best results...
Has anyone had an issue with weak WSR primers? I loaded up some wax .38spl cartridges by melting wax and placing some .38 casings mouth down until the wax cooled. I then used WSR primers as the only propellant.
About 1/3 of the rounds failed to fire so I disassembled the duds to see what was...
Norma had a sale on Argentine primers, no Hazmat fee, free shipping over $100, so I ordered 2000 @ $62.

They are a bit fussy in my Hornady LNL progressive, a couple stuck and one flipped over. Could be I need to do more cleaning and polishing.
I loaded 100 9mm...
Could I fire the 500 magnum with a CCI BR2 rather than the typical rifle primers? Winchester large rifle primers are what I usually use, but I couldn't find any. I took a few BR2 and fired three rounds with them using a 440 grain bullet and 35 grains of little gun; they seemed to have a little...
I picked this up at FedEx Home Delivery yesterday…yeah, ironic!
Anyway…so joyous to have 5 bricks of Remington 7 1/2 primers…a first for me.
So sad that I paid 307% more for these 5 bricks than I paid for 5 bricks of CCI 500 primers 3 years ago.
On balance, the hurt will fade as my loading...
Hello all,
My wife and I will be moving soon and we’re wondering if and what regulations are as far as transporting primers and powder in our vehicle? There are roughly 20 lbs of powder, in 1lb jugs and 10-12k primers.
Thanks in advance, if anyone has experience here please chime in!
Hi,
Met a guy who said he's been reloading for over 40 years at my local range the other day. I've been reloading for a little over a year. I make my own primers due to the scarcity and cost of them nowadays. I was having a fairly typical day of 1MOA groups @ 100 yards, give or take. He said the...
Got this tonight:
“Primer presale current update:
Hello everyone. I know you have all been anxious to get an update from me for a couple weeks now. Fact is that I’ve been waiting for one too. The ATF Imports Div. in Seattle has 2 staff members representing all imports which as I’m sure you...
I have these LR primers pulled from some German dm28a2 7.62x51 blanks. Is there any way I can test them to see how they perform compared to standard LR primers that doesn't involve loading live rounds? How much difference can a primer make in chamber pressure, is it safe to just blindly use...
Can anyone help me find or sell me some small pistol primers? Im having a hard time trying to locate any. Thanks guys
Any help offered is greatly appreciated
If someone made a tutorial video showing how to make your own smokeless gunpowder and primers, where would such a video be posted? YouTube (where freedom of speech is suppressed) is obviously not a contender. Same with Facebook.
My ammunition for orientation and practice session at Capital...
Does anybody know someone hand reloading ammunition that might have spent primers I could obtain?
If you've tried to purchase ammunition or reloading components lately, they're pretty much unobtainium.
The only "work around" that I've got, is to legally make my own primers (OK in State where I...
Most Mondays there's an online auction in my town and I've bought quite a few things there. You have a week to look over the items and bidding starts around 5pm on a Monday afternoon. There are some great deals to be had but I see people overpay for many things, particularly firearms, but I...
I finally found the four small pistol primers that I lost the other day. They turned up in my steel pin tumbler at the end of the cycle when I separated the pins from the casing.
Yup. Found them. Wet. Dripping. Still good looking and intact.
I know it's just four SPP but as you know they are...
I’ve been lurking on this site since I started reloading about 18 months ago, first post. I’ve learned a lot, since many of you reload more in a year than I will in my lifetime, mostly to put me at ease when I think I’ve done something catastrophic...thank you very much for all the great info...
Hi I am new to reloading and was wondering when reloading 350 if I was able to use small rifle magnum primers? If so how many grains of powder would I want to use?
