half can of I-4198 and 1/4 of H4831. Got them both for $7.
4198 smelled normal to me. The 4831 smelled like powder, but like the powder smell was dissipated.
I’d have paid $10 per can, even empty, just for the cans. I wish I’d have kept all of the cans my grandpa and uncles went through when I started reloading.
I also wish we could still get powder in ~30gal fiber barrels.
That powder (rusty top) is starting to break down. Pour out a larger amount and see if you see any cloud come out. If no odor or rust in the rest of the can, shoot it up quickly. It's days are numbered. The 4831 can indicates rust on the bottom of the can. Need to confirm it's only surface rust and not the powder eating through.
