1 or 2 slot holster

I have a Bianchi, similar to your 2 slot and find it to be the easiest to handle. You have to remember anything you use, you have to practice with until it becomes second nature with the minimum of hand movement.

I have owned one slot and two slot holsters. The two slide keeps the angle of the holster and handgun consistent, but the one slot allows a little give in the angle which helps when getting into and out of a vehicle or sitting down on a chair.
I am a bit lazy at times. I don’t like fiddling with two slot holsters when putting them on and taking them off.
Also, a one slot lets you my the holster back and forth a little easier for comfort.
I prefer a one slot holster overall for general carry.

A single loop like you linked and as shown here with the Lobo Combat Classic ( https://lobogunleather.com/owb-outside-the-waist-band/combat-classic/ ) or the El Paso Saddlery Tom Threeperson ( https://epsaddlery.com/product/1920-tom-threepersons-2-to-7-12-barrels/ ), are largely open carry/LE/competition/range holsters. They hold the gun in place, but there is nothing that will bring the grip into the body to aid concealment.

When concealment became a bigger need, holster makers added a trailing loop, seen aft of the trigger guard. This brought the grip closer to the body. The two major designs that use this, and are the basis for nearly all OWB concealment holsters are the Nelson #1 Professional/Askins Avenger and the Roy Baker designed Pancake Holster. The classic representation of the Nelson #1 Professional is the Milt Sparks 55BN (the BN for Bruce Nelson https://www.miltsparks.com/products-55-bn.php ). Your linked 2 slot is a representative of a pancake holster, and Simply Rugged has a fairly authentic copy of the Pancake with their Cuda and Tribute models ( https://www.simplyrugged.com/ecomme...aled-Carry-Holster.cfm?item_id=407&parent=669 ).

This Horseshoe Leather link will describe holster design http://www.holsters.org/holster-design.htm
