I realised looking at my old post that it was Feb 10th that I went shooting for the first time, with my first handgun. Since then I may have gone a little buy crazy. I have bought -

1.)CZ 75BD - Absolute best 350 I will ever spend.

2.)Beretta Neos - Impulse buy, sold it quickly.

3.)Baby Eagle 9mm - Sold it at a loss but gained a range buddy. Good deal.

4.)Ruger 10/22 CRR - Mostly for my Babygirl to shoot with.

5.)AR15 - Put it together myself with CMT/Sabre Defence/LMT parts.

6.)GP 100 - Traded it for funds that I needed before I ever fired a single round through it.

7.)Ruger Security Six - See above. So much fun to shoot that I dont even miss the GP100 I traded for it.

8.)Walther P22 - Once again for my Girl.

9.)Browing Buck Mark - On lay-a-way.

10.)Marlin 917m2 - On lay-a-way.

I only keep the 75 at my house, unless I am away. The rest reside somewhere else. Too many people know I shoot for fun.

My Fiance' has helped me tremendously. She has made small contributions when I've made my various lay-a-way payments for my guns and larger ones for the ones bought for her. I never asked her to but she wanted to show her support. She has paid for and suprised me with several basic and a few more expensive parts for my AR. More important to me was the fact that she listens to me enough to learn what parts I need and what brands I trust than the actual money. More than anything else she remained open minded though taught by society to fear firearms as dangerous and inherently evil. Shes an amazing woman.

Its hard to imagine now that its been less than a year since I knew anything about guns. I honestly thought that GLOCK was a caliber after reading a thriller novel a few years ago. Ive come a long way.

Ive spent too much time and money on guns though, time to start spending more on ammo, learning Riflery and on/with my Girl. ;) Ive got enough good hardware. Im like a carpenter with more tools than he knows how to use and no wood. Gonna have to work on that this next year.

Just some reflection. Comments welcome.
