I was thinking about getting a 10/22 take down.
Well now I'm locked in, I bought a non-ported gemtech mist for a take down. It had been at the gun shop for months and the gun shop owner finally got tired of looking at it.
I also have a leupold CQ/T that I picked up several years ago never found a home for it.
No rush, I have at least 6 months to get it together.
I am pretty sure I found the stock I need.
What has everyone been using for bolt and trigger groups?
Doesn' have to be super high dollar, I found the ruger OE parts work pretty well, I wouldn't mind splurging for a nice trigger group.

If you plan on running subsonics, make sure that 10-22 will cycle them before you get too far ahead.

The gemtech mist is an internal suppressor/barrel.
It's a standard looking carbine length barrel on the out side. But it's actually 10'' of bore and the remainder is baffels and can.
A 10 inch barrel tends to render most standard velocity 40gr ammo subsonic.
If standard ammo is too hot I can always have it ported.

Volquartsen makes a lightweight bolt and kit that should allow you to cycle anything. I lightened my factory bolts and they cycle SV ammo but I don’t run suppressors. If you’re going all out on a build, Kidd trigger, again, I modify the OEMs.

Cycling anything is appealing...
I know a lot of unmodified 10/22 rifles don't even like to cycle 38 to 40gr subsonic stuff when they start to get a little dirty.
That is a good idea.
