I purchased some Missouri 180 gr bullets I plan to reload for my 10mm. I have AA#7 I have used with fmj bullets and some 231. I was looking and it seems 9.3 of AA#7 is a good starting point and around 1.245 for a OAL. Those # came from Accurate powders home page but useing diffrent lead bullets. Just checking to see if any other 10mm owners are loading 180 gr Missouri bullets.

Just a update fired these rounds of Missouri lead 180 gr bullet 9.3 gr of AA#7 col of 1.245 they seem to work fine no presure no leading of barrel. I may stretch the col to 1.250 and try it in my barrel and see if it chambers ok. Seems like it may be a good target round.

New thought I took a fired brass and wiggled the missouri 180 gr bullet into the case pushed the case into my barrel pulled the bullet out and measured it. The measurment was 1.252 so would the 1.245 be the best col for this round giving me a little room for bullet?

What 10mm are you shooting, TigerBight?

Did your original rounds feed and eject OK? If so, use that measurement. Otherwise, your 1.245 LOA is probably not a bad one. Just don't shorten it as you move up the charge weight.
