Does anyone have a published load for 180 gr cast 10mm for blue dot? The only book I could find a 180gr load was Hornady and it did not have Blue Dot. I may end up with bullseye, but I was trying to stick with the blue dot, I use on the jacketed. I may just end up reducing by 10%, but wanted to see If anyone here had a good one first. I have looked in every book I have and everyone at the local store I get most of my supplies at.

Thanks J McLeod, that is the closest one I could find as well, was hopeing for one right at 180 but can't seem to find one. I have found plenty of 180gr projectiles in cast but no load specific for it, looks like I will experiment a bit. I am one to stick to the books but have had to do it on a few other loads.

Never liked BD with cast bullets. Try Unique. For more data, remember you are loading 40 S&W in a longer case. The loading manuals have lots of 40 data.

Yeah I found some data for jacketed that put out a good hard hitting load for a woods gun here in the winter. I am not sure just yet if I want to cary it when the bears are out. I will probably stick to the .44 mag. I was trying to stick close to that load for plinking with it if possible. I may run a different powder, I already have about 8 different powders and trying not to keep adding as I have to use them all before I leave Alaska in 2 years. Canada is a little picky on what I can take on the drive out and the shippers wont take it. Unique isn't one on the shelf right now but may be an option.
