Weapon is a Glock 20 with a LWD 4.6" stainless barrel.
I have been working up some AA#9 loads with 155gr GDHP's
I worked up to 15.3gr AA#9, and tested one. The primer was flat, but not cratered or anything. I measured the spent case and got .425 towards the rim, and the unfired starline brass is .421-.422
Is this acceptable?
I do know the round was pretty stout. It expanded the GDHP to over an inch in soft dirt. Basically folded it all the way down to the base of the bullet.
I have seen several different max loads for AA#9 with 155gr bullets. High of 15.9 to low of 14.5. So, I wanted to make sure I know what to look for when working these up.
Thanks in advance.
