Right, I remember reading about Aguila's .17 caliber offering in magazines long before reading about Hornady's .17 caliber entry here on this forum. However, it really doesn't matter to me... whichever convinces Marlin to offer the model 60 in their caliber within $30 of the conventional .22LR price gets my dollar. Not that I can think of much use for a .17 rimfire, I’m sure a 14 round semi-auto in the vicinity of $130 would prove too enticing to pass on.
Until then, I suppose I'll just keep reading about them.
It would be nice if they used the same case dimensions.
Hornady uses a 17g bullet and according to the link, Aguila uses a 20g.
If the Aguila is available now and the Hornady isn't available until September there might be some trouble for Hornady.
A model 60 sure does sound fun snowdog .
