Awesome video - I love the '61. Just got my Pietta '61 back from the Goon (thanks, Goon!) - looks amazing and I am excited to put some lead through it.

I enjoyed your video. I was impressed by the paper cartridges and how easily they loaded and the fast ignition. The other conical bullets were very impressive!

I noticed there were some smoke streamers from what I would guess to be the lubed felt wads. I have never used the felt wads, so it is just a guess. I know it is green there, but any chance of fire from the felt wads would make a mess of things. Bone dry California perspective...

Good afternoon,
Thank you for putting up the video. I enjoyed the apparent power of the .36 caliber rounds, especially with the 2 Liters and Shaving Creme cans. The ease of use of the paper cartridges is properly alluring. As you noted, the revolver is definitely beautiful. I am a _huge_ fan of Saddle guns but would not turn my nose up at this potent six-gun.
Regards!

I noticed you didn't have any trouble with spent caps jamming up the works. Is the gun stock, or did you make any improvements to prevent issues?

TL/DR.

OK, I watched. It was fun and I didn't know that prepared paper cartridges were available commercially. They must be cost prohibitive. Anyway, your closing scene of the bad guy's view was very reminiscent of the B/W classic, The Great Train Robbery. Link to the flick

Never noticed until now that that final scene involves a DA revolver.

Great video, I've got an ASM 1861 that my son got me for my birthday, I hadn't shot it much, but after seeing your video, I guess it's going to spend a lot more time at the range.:D
