Anyone know who stocks a synthetic 390, 3901 or 391 in 20 Gauge?

It's hard to tell what Beretta currently sells. The 390 hasn't been cataloged for a long time, but Wally World supposedly sells them (I haven't seen one) and now Cabela's is selling the 390 in 12 Gauge for a 4th of July sale.

Anyway, any suggestions for a reseller who sells the things?

I can't help if you need to hold one. If you already know you want one, have your dealer call Jerry's Sport Center (your dealer likely has an account with them.)

They list the 3901 synthetic 20 gauge 28" barrel in stock at all their warehouses.

If your dealer won't order it let me know and I'll put the order in.

I don't see any 391s in 20 and synthetic. Lots of synthetic 12s and lots of wood 20s.

There was also one a few weeks ago in the classifieds at shotgun world. I almost bought it but found another a303 with nice wood and ended up with that instead.

Thanks, waterhouse!

I know the Beretta fits me, and I want a gun to abuse in the brushy, rocky high country (chukar, quail, grouse). We don't have to plug our upland guns in Idaho, either. I still have my doubts about the Turkish-made guns sold by Weatherby and Mossberg, and the 3901 is a decent value.

A guy in the dog club we train with just showed me the 20 Gauge Urika he uses for my intended purpose (balance and weight are perfect), and the glue repair he did when he broke the stock in half. Hence, I figure I'll just get the plastic one.:)

It'll be the first plastic-stocked shotgun I've ever owned...

Another purist succumbs...(LOL)...just kidding. Our family stable of shotguns has four plastic guns in it. While they do lack character, they are extremely durable. If they are black plastic, they can hide even the most severe dings rather easily. Let us know how the berreta works out for you.
