I'll play. Let's see - for 2018...

  • Backup HD pump shotgun
  • GP100, 3"
  • Beretta 21A
  • S&W Model 10
  • Winchester model 94 .30-30 (post-64)

Fairly active year; a little above-average for me.
Been focusing more on ammo and accessories lately.
Don't see any other purchases on the horizon, but I've learned to never say never.

As for me, got back from the gunsmith two longly awaited project restorations which are now complete after being rebarreled and headspaced--a 1916 Oberndorf GEW 98 and an 1895 Chilean Mauser Long Rifle in 7x57. Have all of the parts to begin a 1903 Springfield .22LR conversion and a No. 2 Enfield in the same. Those go to the gunsmith for resleeving/headspacing the .22 LR barrels which were pretty worn.

Several handguns (a semi-auto and revolver), some AR builds (two of which are undergoing), and some milsurp bolt action receivers for future restoration builds. Oh, and one No. 1, Mk 3 undergoing rebarreling to a pristine one. Might take some pix after my recovery from recent surgery--too much trouble to get them out right now as I am under weight lifting restrictions.

Pietta 1849 Pocket Pistol (c&b .32)
CZ Scorpion EVO S1 (9x19)
High Point 955 to put in a Hightower Bullpup stock (9x19)
And two that I have purchased, I just haven't been home to pick up yet:
CZ 455 American (.22lr)
Smith and Wesson M&P 22 Compact (.22lr)

. . . I can't think of any others that I have purchased this year

I slacked back a lot due to other irons in the fire. Some reloading stuff but no new firearms so far this year. Never know, one still might just drop in my hands at a fair price yet.;)

My first kel-tecs, a cmr 30 and a sub2000
Ruger precision rifle in 6.5 creedmore( another first)
Wow, i guess that’s it this year
Wait, forgot my 2 leo trade in glock 37’s (my first glocks)
Also advanced armament .22 cal slide-barrel conversion for one of above mentioned glocks
Now, that looks better

An old Colt in .38 Sp, an old S&W in .38 Spl, a Taurus PT-132 Pro, and a P-365.

I have a rule of only one firearm purchase a year.
So I built a Valkyrie.

Then, while on a call with Santa about my kids, it was let slip that a Blackout AR pistol would be under the tree for me to build on Christmas morning.

And I haven't even been that good...:)

I'm glad that, technically, the Blackout won't count towards next year!

Bulgarian Makarov
2 Beretta 92s
Yugo M24/47
Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 5''
CZ 75 Pre B
PSA AR in 556/223
Nothing too spendy, but I am more than happy with everything I have purchased this year.

All the Security 9s have the thumb safety. It’s made for people that can’t run with scissors.
Looks like a terrible safety setup, but it may just be the angle of the photo. The “paddle?” seems very small and appears as if it might make it difficult to positively locate and instinctively flip. It may just be the angle...I hope it’s just the angle. Honestly though I was turned off to that gun when I saw the name. Security is supposed to be followed by 6 and be a rotary lead dispenser, not some silly reciprocating doohickey. Kinda like S&W pistols are NOT M&P.

I hope you like it, and I hope it’s a good gun.

It's my '19 cast bullet varmint rig. 55g at 2500 fps. No PD's in the Virginia mnts so crows,Ghogs. It's the small cal. rig. Use a stainless R700 SPS 7-08 with 130g cast and Varget @2600 for little bit tougher weather days. R700 stainless CDL '06 175g cast and IMR4350 @26-2700 fps for a coyote rig. Most shots are inside 150 yds.

What are you planning to use that .223 for? It looks like a prairie dog slayer to me?

I picked up little used PPS in excellent condition for less than Bulgarian Makarov. The price was ludicrous so I bought it. I had to ask if there was something wrong with the gun. No, ok I will take it. Surprisingly its more accurate than my Glock and there was zero failures with four different types of ammo I tried.
