Ontelauntee Rod & Gun Club. Nice place.
I was amiss in not posting sooner to see who was going. There were four of us from GA ICORE and while we didn't win any big prizes we had a hoot and shot well.
The COF only had 2 movers, both on one stage. But then there was a lot of steel, including 2 Texas stars. (I cleaned the second one which is a new first for me.) The all steel course had 7 different types of steel and only REQUIRED 35 rounds. I remember to take about 10 speed loaders with me to the line, but only used 41 rounds. Good for me.
Interestingly, Josh Lentz, Grand Master Classic shooter, had gun trouble on one stage, so, by the score sheet, I beat him on that stage. The only way I'll ever beat him. Josh took high Classic and I nailed down 9th place (out of 14). I did however manage to be high super senior. Okay. Okay. There were only 2 of us in Classic. Seems most 65+ year olds move to open for the red dots. I think I'll stay in Classic for a while longer.
