.22-250 Target Rifle

Any suggestions about a manufacturer who makes .22-250 bolt action target rifles with a traditional natural wood stock and a heavy barrel option?

Savage 12 Series Varmint for lesser $, or 12 Series Target for more. Both come in blue or stainless, composite or wood stock...with or without thumbhole on wood.

You could probably find a used Remington or Ruger to fill the bill.

I love my Remington 700 VLS in 22-250.

My choice would be either a Ruger M77 Mkii Target

A Remington XR-100


or a Remington VLS like the one above

or a Ruger No 1 single shot rifle
