I'm fairly new to reloading .223, so how do you know when to dump it & start with new brass?

I've been reloading .38 & .357, with those, if a case splits or the primer pocket is too loose you dump it. But that can be 10 or more reloadings.

How many times can we SAFELY reload a .223 case?

thanks in advance - you guys & gals are the greatest! :barf: ........ :D

Depends on how much we are working the brass and the pressure we are operating at.

You should get five firings easy, and ten is reasonable to expect with good brass when we are not working the brass too much.

I've loaded my brass until the I get case neck splits. Also, you will have to re-trim the brass after a few firings cause the cases stretch.
