What .270 load do you guys recommend for boar? I have a Winchester 70 in .270 and so far I've got 130 and 150 grain bullets.

Either. They're not armor plated. Shot placement still works. My son waited for 3 to line up, and shot them all with one 130g bullet.

Either bullet weight in 270 will work very well for hogs. I'd choose whichever one is most accurate, and stick with it.

I've had great luck with 130gr. Accubonds. They don't usually exit so the pig gets it all. Impressive wound channels.

Shot placement is far more important than cal or round itself. I personally want as close to DRT as possible on hogs, especially big hogs. Not a lot of fun getting a big wounded hog out of thick brush. Make sure you know where to shoot them. Heart and lungs are placed a little different on a hog than on a deer.

They are a little more forward with the heart being lower.
