I go for the 7mm/.280...........same basic case as the .270 and a whole lot more bullets to reload.

.270 for white tails and range time. More comfortable, cheaper, less blast. 7 mag will put them down quicker, but a .270 shot done right doesn't do it much slower.

Come up here to MN and that is a tiny buck! A good size buck around here is 190+. Congrats on the deer.
