My Sig Pro came with standard Sig sights, that is, the regular front white dot and a rear white post. OK, but fair at best, by my experience, for basic SD and target shooting.
Well, I decided to order a set of Trijicon tritium night sights with the white outlines on them and have them replace the standard Sig sights.
What a major difference in the accuracy of my shooting with the new 3-dot sights! I was no flake with the dot-post Sig sights by any stretch, but I have found that I shoot significantly better at 50' and 75' with the new 3-dot sights given my middle-aged eyes
Why Sig still sells their guns with dot-post standard sights is a mystery to me. It seems to me that 3-dot sights are the norm just about everywhere else.
At anyrate, I'm glad to get my main HD gun back from the 'smith' and be even better than before with it.
