308 'Rifle': Buffer Weight Options?

I just picked up a new 'DPMS Rifle Rc Panther LRCLSS 308FXD'

I would like to add a heavier buffer & weaken the buffer spring tension.
I hope that will make it easier to charge back, & reduce recoil.


I have done this in my AR15's w great success. But my AR15's are all carbines & easy to shop different weight buffers. Is there different buffers out there?

If Someone can point me in the right direction of where to buy...

I asked them to build me the same upper but in .243, they laughed out loud, told me to call back in 18 months.

Im just running what ever came with my mp-10. Whatever it is the action feels hell for stout and is running great. I shoot radway green, men, and portuguese the only thing it didn't like was the bazilian m80 magtech or whatever. I don't like that stuff anyway. Somebody down in brazil took liberty when it came to NATO specs.
