Hi I will be hunting with a new rifle this yr a 308 win most shots will be around 25 to 50 yds I bought 3 type of ammo all 150 grain Federal power shok remington core lokt winchester power point of these 3 will any be ok for that shorter range

Which ever one that shoots the best out of your rifle. Although I own a 308 and never used any of these, i reload for mine, I still wouldn't hesitate in using any one of these.

thank you Im new to the 308 but loving it so far I was just kinda unsure with them at close range. My previous 7 mm mag did alot of damage

You'll be fine with any of those at that range. I would definitely find out which brand your gun likes best and sight it in at 100yds. After its sighted in for 100, find out where you are at at 25 and 50. That way if a 100yd or longer shot does eventually present itself, you'll be ready.

I like the Core-lokt, but at that short distance any brand will have more than enough energy and accuracy shouldn't been an issue. I believe most of the fancy ammo brands are designed to help at long range.

Sounds like you made some great choices, pick one of em & go hunting...........Good Luck.

I have had very good results with Federal 150gr Ballistic Tips.

I've seen very few rifles in any caliber that didn't shoot the Power-Shok decently.
