I'm new to reloading and have some questions. I have several hundred Hornady 3037 bullets and Hornady match 308 brass. These are going to be used in semi-auto rifle for plinking. I was planning on using CCI 200 primers and would like advice on a powder brand and a starting load. I have access to a few types of IMR powder (not sure of the number), but am not opposed to buying a few lbs of any brand.

merrick4,

I would suggest IMR4895 for shooting those 150gr bullets. Start your load development at 42.0 grains and work your way up towards 45.0 grains, stopping where you find accuracy.

I don't have my manual with me but I highly and strongly suggest getting a manual or two so you can cross reference data.
