.35 Rem Trim Length

What is the trim-to length for .35 Rem brass with Hornady 200 FTX bullets? I called Hornady and they quoted 1.910” and their manual does not differentiate between FTX and conventional bullets. What say you?

I trim them the same. @1.920” -0.01”= 1.910”.
The SAAMI OAL is 2.525”
However, the FTX bullet seated will run to 2.585”.
These will cycle through my Marlin M336C. That is the ultimate test. -will a loaded round chamber and eject?

Also, some .35’ have very short abrupt throats. Mine does! But it’s also VERY accurate.

That is normal trim length for Hornady FTX as well as any other 35 Rem load.

Hornady does not specify a shorter case for the 35 the way they do for 444 Marlin and 45-70 when using the FTX bullet in lever actions.
