For the 357 my journey started about like yours. 125s just didn’t get me the accuracy I needed. It’s hard to get the powder column to get good combustion when packed to the levels required for the lighter bullets. I found you need more Bullet to get a better burn and ultimately better chrono numbers and better accuracy.
158 at the absolute lightest up to 185 seems to be the sweet spot.
I only use SRPs in rifles and pistols. Helps with ignition. 300MP has been better than H110,296 as it lights easier.
