I wish their were more tests done like this.
I've seen x-rays of cadavers with JHP bullets still inside, they never looked like they do in gel tests.

I used to work at a University in the Medical Department and we did some testing in conjunction with local law enforcement on different things but never tested any ammo or firearms for ballistics performance. Don't know why and I always asked why not ... but it didn't generate any real interest. It would have been about as real as it gets though.
