.380 Reloading question

ok so I loaded some 380 last night with bullseye but the cases wanted to dent or scuff don't no if its the dies or something else they are lee dies I use lee on everything else they work fine butt the 380 are not pretty

when seating bullet right bellow where base of bullet is in case I have heard that when you crimp it they smooth out but don't like it
