Hey all...

So I bought some .380 100 rd. WWB ammo today at wal-mart, and to my surprise, it cost more than the .40 S&W WWB!!!

Total for .380 WWB was $17.95.

.40 S&W was like $15.

Whats the deal? Were they always this expensive? Holy moly, only $2 less than .45 ACP value pack!

Sheesh....

They sell less 380 than 40 or 45, and certainly 9mm. Look at the 32 acp prices! I heard some time ago, all ammo is going up, brass is up and lead is up in metal prices. Walmart is not the cheapest around here. Then they don't have it in stock. I buy ammo at Gander Mountain, Dicks, and Dunhams, for what I don't reload for....Try reloading, you will not save more, but, you will shoot more!

Ammoman.com has "American Eagle" 380 fmj for $149 delivered for a thousand rounds.

That's 14 cents a round. Not as cheap as some 9mm, but still a pretty good price.

If you look around, you can probably find some of the Spanish "Santa Barbra" police ammo for even less and it's pretty hot as 380 ammo goes.

I think you're right. I could have sworn I saw it for $13.95 or so not long ago. I went back to get some and was shocked to see the $17.95 price.
