Here is some load data that I recorded today if anyone is interested.

SA XD sub compact .40

Weather: Temp 97*f, humidity 31%, light right crosswind.

Bullet = HDY 40047X
Gr. = 180
Case = Win
Primer = Fed
OAL = 1.125
Powder = WST

15 rounds each load shot from bench at 15 yards
3.9 gr. @ 758 fps. produced 3.5" group
4.0 gr.@ 763 fps. produced ~ 2.5" group
4.1 gr. @ 771 fps. produced 3' group
4.2 gr. @ 760 fps produced 6" group

The fps is an average for the 15 rounds.
4.2 gr. seemed to hit a wall with a lower average speed though it produced the fastest speed of 785 fps.

I love WST for .40s&w. I load WST for my IDPA rounds. You are dead on the money with your loads. I load 3.9gr for winter shooting, and 4.0gr for warm weather. WST is reverse temp sensitive which causes 3.9gr to not lock my slide on empty mags during the summer. I actually had a failure to lock last week during a match, so I have loaded some 4.1gr rounds to shoot during this extremely hot weather now. Great powder for 45acp lead loads also.
