40sw 170 lead swc loads

Does anyone have any loads for the 170g lead swc using Unique, HP 38 or Universal.

I've looked around and have found some info but I was wondering if anyone had a good pet load.

4.0 to 4.4g HP-38 is a nice soft, accurate load with the 170g lead bullets.

Loads from the Lyman manual for 175 gr LSWC which should be fine for the lighter 170 gr (1.125" OAL):

- Unique 4.8 gr - 5.8 gr (911 - 1023 fps) (1.125" OAL)

From the Laser-Cast manual for 170 gr hard cast LSWC

- HP38 max load = 4.6 gr giving 983 fps (1.135" OAL)
- Universal max = 4.6 gr giving 1013 fps (1.135" OAL)

The only load I have used that is similar is 4.5 gr of w231 at OAL = 1.130" with a 170 gr LSWC, which worked fine. W231 is supposed to be pretty much the same as HP38.
