1FDA1D36-B165-4C43-9F5D-47592A21EE70.jpeg I think this came in a recent batch of 44 mag brass I bought off internet, but could have been a range pickup.Whichever I had never seen one like it.
It was painted red on base just as you see it. I cleaned the paint of the top letters and it is stamped BHA, the rest is legible.
Can anyone share any info on this case?
Thanks

I googled it and the only thing I came up with is other peoples opinion as to what it is. Sorry couldn't' t find any reliable source that knows what it could be. Good luck .

1. Special headstamp “44 MAG PROOF”
2. Regular brass finish

SAAMI Proof load is 51,500 PSI. The primer photo is a good example of a hot load. Primers flat and fills the primer pocket.

I would try to get a better photo and contact BHA. I dont think they would want proof brass to leave the factory?

I would not load them. They may not provide enough neck tension. Loose pocket?
