esteemed members,
I have been on this site a few times, and have been greatly impressed with the comments and knowledge expressed by the participants; so here is my question: My girlfriend gave me a 460vr s&w revolver for christmas, and I have a set of rcbs 45 Long Colt dies. What other dies do I need to buy to load all three .45 cal cartridges. Is it better to just buy a complete set for all calibers, or can I perhaps just buy a complete 460 set and use a washer like I use on my 38spec/357mag dies to raise my 45lc expander and seating dies to fit the 454 casull . I figured that I could use the 460 resizing die on the 454. Any enlightening comments and/or helpful hints regarding the reloading these truly immense rounds would be truly appreciated, for although I have been reloading magnum pistol rounds for decades; this is my first foray into the "Super Magnum" realm.
Happy holidays to all,

You should be able to reload them all using your .45 Colt die set, possibly depending on the brand of dies.

You would have to re-adjust the expander & seating dies for each calibers different length.

Washers would certainly work, but you would probably have to have someone custom make them. I don't know of any for sale.
