I agree and recommended magnum primers in my first response.
However my shooting buddy is a cheap bastard who uses HS-7 because he got it dirt cheap and he wouldn't spring for magnum primers or a more sensible powder.

Well then, you did your part and he has no one to blame but himself... That's that then! lol

I first check for load data, then find components.
(I learned the hard way with 180 gr .358" LSWCs)
