Why don't they offer one now in the true pocket (Uberti) frame with this length barrel.

That would be real sweet to carry in the woods for small game and other critters.

They're just not that popular. However, you can get a 5 or 6 inch barrel length using the same frame from Uberti in .36 caliber instead. Both the Pocket Navy and Pocket Police are offered in 2 and 3 barrel lengths respectively.

I agree, with the '62 Pockets you can get a 4.5 inch, a 5.5 inch and a 6.5 inch barrel for those but with the '49 Pocket you can get the conversion.

And then there's the 3.5" barrel that can be had separately for the Police. I've often thought it would go nicely with a longer barrel.

But the 3.5" barrel, without a loading lever, seems too big of an ordeal for a range trip, and I don't have, or really want, an off the gun loader. My loading box is stuffed and heavy enough as is. This had made me think the 4.5" Police would be a nice compromise.
