5,6 or 7 shot handgun

I've had an original Shield for quite a few years and it's been incredibly reliable, it feels good in-hand and it carries really well. That'd be my pick.

1. S&W Shield 9mm (3in barrel) 7 shot
2. Rossi 720 in 44 Special (3in barrel) 5 shot
3. Ruger Speed Six 357 Mag (2 3/4 in barrel) 6 shot

I love revolvers and I admit I carry one as my CCW at times. If I had to pick just one gun of these three,, I'd go with the Shield (my similar Ruger LC9 Pro is probably my most carried gun). I just feel the reloading issue is important enough that I'm willing to sacrifice the modest advantage of the .357 over the 9mm in terminal effectiveness.
