I was browsing different gunmaker websites tonight for fun, and noticed that Charter Arms now offers many of their guns with a long, 5" barrel. They don't have any pictures up yet. Has anybody seen one?

Looks like they've also dropped their .327 federal lineup. I wasn't sure if that cartridge would get very popular.

I find their 5" Bulldog and 5" Police Bulldog models intriguing.

I haven't seen the new ones but I liked the original police bulldogs, was one of the few offered in 5", really balances nice.:)

Well I tried to see one. There isn't even a picture on their website.

I guess Bulldog is 44spec
and Pug is .357 now.

the old one I was talking about was a .357 police bulldog or bulldog tracker?

1st Gen. CA revolvers with 6" barrels were: the .357 MAGNUM BULLDOG and the BULLDOG TRACKER.
There is listed in a late (1st Gen.) catalogue of a SS TARGET BULLDOG with a 5.5" barrel - although I've never seen one in person or a pic of it.

The one I shot was blue, with the chubby Bulldog grip. Maybe it was shortened to 5", I thought it came that way.

Yeah it could a been 4" that bulldog tracker scroll on the bull barrel looks familiar. I just know it was shorter than 6" that barrel always looks too long right off.
