Since I have Reloader 7 for my 45-70’ I thought I’d give it a try in my 16” KM barreled .50 Beowulf AR-15 and was pleasantly surprised by the results at 100 yards. The attached target provides the details but 51 grains of RL-7 under a 350 grain Hornady XTP shot the best group. Did have 1 flier that was my fault but I think I’ll focus more on this load in the future.
Have been working with Lil Gun and wasn’t too excited by the results (center bull) because I really couldn’t dial in a good powder/bullet combination in the past.
RL-7 cycles the rifle fine and had some decent kick to it but was manageable.
