What is your best 50S&W reload. Lead, Plated, Mankiller or Tyrannosaurs killer

My all time favorite (but not the cheapest) is 43 gr H110 under 350 Sierra JHP. Yee Haa!

It's towards the Tyrannosaurus Killer end of the spectrum.

The most accurate I've found uses Sierra 400 gr. Sports Master bullets over H110/Win. 296. I get 1 to 1.5 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yards with this load.

If you want a dinosaur killer then use EddieCoyle's 500 grain Hornady JSP load. I've got a similar one using H110 instead of LILGUN and it can give you the flinches pretty quickly. I'll try to post the load data when I get back home. I'm currently playing with 10 Grains of Trailboss under a 440 grain Lee Mold boolit of solid wheel weights (410 grains as cast). It's about 38 special velocity with a pretty full case of powder. Very pleasant to shoot.

I''m going to try that as soon as I start casting my own.

Just for the record, I'm moving away from H110 and toward Lil' Gun for both the .500 and .460 Mags. One of my friends has put a steady diet of H110 through his .500 and ended up with a badly eroded forcing cone. He sent it back to S&W and they fixed it, but more H110 has caused more erosion.
