Not really a gun question... but here goes. I work in the construction field and often have the opportunity to scrounge material. Currently, there are 2 - 55 gallon steel drums that I could get. New, used 1 time for hydrolic oil (elevator). Aside from a recycling, rain water collector, or a wood stove. Is there anything fun I could make out of these? Any thing usefull? Are there any survivalists that use 55 gallon drums for anything unique?

I just find it odd that I cant find some itch to scratch with 2 - 55 gallon steel drums. :scrutiny:

I cut the top off one of mine and used it for bum fires. Cut several ventilation holes so the fire has plenty of air.

Back in high school, I always had parties...most of which were outside, and the fire barrel was always rollin'. Even on the coldest night, it kept us all warm.
